How to Enhance Your Child’s Communication Skills - '"It Takes Two to Talk" Hanen Program for Parents

The purpose of this class design recognizes the importance of involving parents in their child’s early language intervention and the need to help children and families as early as possible in a child’s life. Parents are the most important people in their child’s life.

Training includes:

• Consultation for you and your child with a Hanen Certified (http://www.hanen.org) speech-language pathologist before the program begins
• Informative and personal classes for small groups of parents
• Individual videotaped sessions of you interacting with your child so that you can “see” what is helping
• Support from other parents who are going through similar experiences.

Weekend Classes Available

• * 7-8 two hour classes
• * Cost: $300.00

Sign Language Classes for Parents

Sign Language Classes include an introduction to sign language; information on normal language development; history and background about how and when to use sign language with a child. Sign Language Book Included
